My professional journey started right in the engine room: as a programmer at Internet-Online-Dienste GmbH, building core backends and database-driven web applications. Even as editor-in-chief and publisher of my own magazines, I remained a developer at heart — my real focus was crafting the ideal software behind the publications. Every chapter follows the same thread: building systems that last.

For more than two decades I have been designing database-driven web applications, leading development teams, and optimizing high-performance systems. The move into the academic study of Artificial Intelligence at JKU Linz closes the loop: state-of-the-art deep learning and pragmatic system architecture from a single source.
Chronology of the Evolution
Academic specialization in Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Computer Vision. The focus is on the practical implementation of LLM Fine-Tuning via LoRA/QLoRA as well as building resilient, semantic Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
Overall responsibility for the technical concept, the scaling of the cloud-based infrastructure (AWS), and the software architecture of the taxi platform Cangoo. Development of high-availability Go backends, real-time data processing under extreme latency requirements, plus building and leading an interdisciplinary software team.
Development of custom software and architectures for national and international companies. Specialization in API design, relational database modeling, performant caching, and turnkey enterprise web platforms.
Conception, editorial direction, and business management of the magazine. Built the digital web infrastructure in-house — early touchpoints with scalable content management and database-driven publishing applications.
Early, deep engagement with translating complex texts and business processes into relational schemas. Parallel training at WIFI Vienna in fundamental programming paradigms (C++ and PHP).

I know every layer of the stack. From database schemas, partitioning, and sharding all the way to automated deployment on Kubernetes clusters.
Multilingual
I speak fluent German, English, and Turkish. And when needed, I also express my thoughts flawlessly in highly optimized PyTorch or Go.
